Enrolling multiple users on the same computer is a snap. The current record for the most individual users on the same computer is now 54. If you top that number, please let us know here at Speaking Solutions!
Here are a few tips you should remember about enrolling multiple users.
Multiple users can be enrolled in the Standard, Advanced, or Professional versions of Voice Xpress. (Similar multi-user capacity is also available in IBM ViaVoice and Dragon NaturallySpeaking.) You can have as many users as you would like on an individual machine with Voice Xpress. However, remember the following:

Profile Dialog Box:
What You Should See!
First user! The first user on any computer system is automatically taken to the required enrollment utility found in the software. Frankly, there is nothing for the first user to worry about. The software will walk them step by step through the procedures they need to complete in order to begin using Voice Xpress.
Second or later user! The second user on the system should see the Select a Speaker Profile dialog box shown in Picture 1 every time they start Voice Xpress. To create a new speaker profile for the second or later user, click the New Profile button. If this dialog doesn't appear at start up, then follow the troubleshooting tip that follows.
BTW: When multiple users use the system, NEVER CLICK the "Don't show this window at start. Always use the current selection option.

you can create new users or select from a list of current users on the same
computer system.

Troubleshooting Tip
If the select the speaker profile window fails to appear, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Properties window in the Voice Xpress menu on the menu bar as shown in Picture 2.
Picture 2: Choose Properties from the L&H Voice
Xpress menu.

2. Click the Startup Tab. (See Picture 3)
3. Uncheck the "Automatically use this speaker profile" box if it has accidentally been marked as shown in Picture 3.
Picture 3: Click the Startup tab and remove the checkmark
from the “Automatically use this speaker profile” box.

4. Restart the computer and Voice Xpress.
You should then come up to the Select a Speaker Profile box as L&H Voice Xpress™ starts again. (See Picture 1) From this window you can add a new user by selecting the New Profile button, or select from the list of existing users.
BTW: The Select a Speaker Profile box is also helpful if you need to delete outdated users from a specific computer. Select the unwanted profile and click Delete.
