NIFTY 50 RECOMMENDATIONS

FOR HANDWRITING RECOGNITION ROTATION

Schools have limited budgets, necessitating a rotation to a limited number of computers of certain instructional units from time to time. Both speech and handwriting recognition often fall into this category.

A successful handwriting recognition rotation can be accomplished for a class of 30 students during a semester using as few as 3-5 computer stations with the Wacom  Graphire 2 tablets and the Nifty 50 four Wacom Handwriting Tablets from SpeakingSolutions.com.  Allow each student approximately 3-5, 55 minute class periods to complete the rotation.

Important Note: As an instructor, complete Training Capsules 1 and 2, installing the software and the drivers as directed.  Then have your students begin with Training Capsule 3. Using the Nifty 50, have your rotating students complete the following training capsules as time permits.
