  1. In MS Word, handwrite or “ink” a paragraph or two  Have the paragraph remain handwriting or ink (don’t convert to text).  Modify the font size of the ink so the handwriting when printed is a good size to read.  Include in the 1-2 paragraphs the following -  10 pts
    1. Name, hometown, major, email address
    2. Your perception of the use and application of handwriting recognition
    3. Place this inked document in the Dropbox of our course web page named “Handwriting.”

  1. Prepare a digital signature.  Do not use your legal signature (due to privacy issues) - 5 pts
    1. With Writing Pad open, click on “Write Anywhere.”  Sign your name and then click on Recognize Now” button.
    2. Choose a font size so that when your signature is printed, it is a fair representative of your signature.  (You may have to print a copy to test this.)
    3. Save file as “yourlastname signature wacom” and place in the Dropbox on the course web page labeled “Wacom Signature.”
    4. Later should you choose to use this signature over the one created on the Tablet PC, you will have to crop/edit the signature out and have it available as a .jpg or other graphic file.  A signature is used on the Portfolio Table of Contents.
