Palmâ Contract

  • I will report to class every day with my charged Palmâ and keyboard in my possession.  I will use the Palmâ appropriately (this includes not loading unauthorized software, games, misuse of the camera, etc.).  I will not lend it to others. 

 

Consequences:

 

First occurrence of not bringing my Palmâ to class, loading software/games, misuse of the camera, or loaning it to others, I will not be able to take it out of the classroom for five days.

 

Second occurrence - I will not be able to take it out of the classroom again. If student misuses the camera they will relinquish the Palm®.

 

  • When using my Palmâ at home, I will transport and store it appropriately.  I will keep it in the protective case safely away from pets, small children, etc.

 

  • I agree to be financially responsible for the equipment belonging to Camdenton R-III Schools, Lake Career & Technical Center.  I understand that I am responsible for replacing the Palmâ, keyboard, and/or case if it is lost, damaged, or stolen.   (Approximate value is $399)

 

Consequences:

 

If the Palmâ, keyboard, and/or case are not returned and/or paid for by the last day of the semester, a grade of  “Incomplete” will be recorded.
